At San Francisco's historic Hyde Street Pier adjacent to Fisherman's Wharf, Academy Studios sought to create an experience that would help people understand the waterfront in a new way. Our exhibits focus on the human stories at the center of all maritime activity: opportunity, the desire for wealth, the love of adventure. An interactive map, audio/visual narratives and touchable objects bring personal history to a global story.
