Following conceptual design done by the Aquarium, Academy Studios finalized designs, engineered and fabricated sculptures and interactive components for their 30,0000 sq. ft. wing. A giant ocean water droplet -- magnified 500 times -- reveals replications of zooplankton and phytoplankton. Elsewhere, a nine-foot translucent jellyfish interactive, featuring eleven separately functioning lighting system calls out the different processes of a jellyfish's life. The exhibit also includes 27 life-size sculptures and 42 bas-relief models.
