Academy Studios was selected for the design and fabrication of the Akron Zoo Legends of the Wild interpretive signage and interactives as well as the primary Akron Zoo Identity Signage from the front entrance, parking lot, Discovery Center all the way through the guest experience. With the temperature extremes of Ohio a fun lively approach was taken yet durable for exterior applications.

The Legends of the Wild experience includes penguins, condors, leopards and other animals. Academy Studios interpretive approach was to create paths with intersecting cross roads and a guest passport guidebook to assist in the experiential journey. Signage elements are fun, attractive and educationally compelling.
